Fire From The Sun: Rise Of A Queen: Epilogue Ise, Japan, Mie Prefecture: Okage Yoko-chō: In the broad neighborhood of Okage Yoko-chō, an offshoot and side street just outside of the famous Oharai Machi area, excitement and a joyous feeling filled the air. Hundreds, perhaps even thousands of people walked up and down the streets of the historical and ancient area. Vendors were at almost every corner, selling traditional Japanese cuisine, drinks, and merchandise. Banners and decorations hung from every door and window of shops and buildings that were built to resemble those from long ago times, even as far back as the 1500’s. On the window sills, display stands, and even on some of the roofs, the noble Japanese flag stood proud, flapping gently in the chill wind. The smells of hot food, fruits, and desserts filled the whole area, filling the people with hope and festivity. The sun was just starting to get low, signaling another day soon coming to a close.
